$250 monthly maintenance fee is required thereafter.

  • Beekeeper decides on the most suitable location for optimized honey production (in agreement with homeowner.)

  • You can expect the hives to be installed by April. The bees begin building up their population. Beekeeper does bi-weekly inspections to ensure that they are exhibiting production qualities. By the end of June, honey boxes should be filled. The homeowner should expect a case of honey jars by mid July. A secondary flow should be expected. By the end of September, all honey boxes will be removed and you can expect another case of honey. End of October, hives are removed from the property and taken to their overwintering location.

Homeowner can expect hives to exist at their property for 6 months.

  • The beekeeper takes care of it all from inspections of hives to re-queening of colonies to honey extraction and bottling.

If the homeowner is ambitious enough to take on beekeeping their own, customers can purchase the bees and equipment at market rates
